Michael Carr is associate professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts Boston and senior researcher at the Center for Social Policy. His research focuses primarily on the short- and long-run consequences of rising inequality for labor market outcomes and the effects that public policy may have on these dynamics. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2009.
